Andrejs Maliss

It would fair to say that the seeds for Andrejs’ career were planted in his high school years, being notably outstanding at mathematics and physics, however, where other students were unsure of their future career plans Andrejs knew that he would become an Engineer! He started his career as a technical draftsman in his home country of Latvia before taking the brave decision to move to the UK in 2010 to study engineering at South Bank University.

During his first year at University Andrejs answered an advert on the University’s notice board for an opening as an Engineering Assistant and so began his engineering career and where he met Chris Evans at Chris Evans Consulting. Under the guidance of mechanical services Chartered Engineers Ivan Rebello and Stephen Tidy he developed design skills and experience over the next 5 years whist completing Batchelor of Engineering degree with 1st class honours.

During this time Andrejs rose from assistant to Design Engineer to Senior Engineer before CEC was acquired by M-E Engineers in 2018 where he was quickly promoted to Associate Mechanical Engineer. Andrejs’ skills lie not only in the production of high-quality practical engineering design solution though also in the ability to consider alternative solutions to recognised standard approaches, something which can be considered as true engineering. Andrejs experience covers and extensive range of sectors from commercial office building, through to education premises, retail developments and residential accommodation.

In 2021 Andrejs, along with Chris Evans, formed cream engineering services, giving them the opportunity to provide better engineering solutions.
